I was born with a creative mindset. as a catalyst for positive change, I have a history of engaging important customers and generating new ideas for the growth of fashion brands.
I’m going to depend on my avid love of learning and mastery of online technology to facilitate a career change and break into the web development industry and gain a solid online branding presence
In this project we are given the choice between 10 or so games. I chose Space Invaders because it is a game I enjoy playing and would like to know more about how its made. During this project I worked by myself to build a game which runs through the client browser. I used HTML, CSS and Javascript to create the application. We were given one week to complete it. I was eager to start this as I knew it would allow my creative side to show.
I used React and React materialize to develop the front end of Threads and Python with Flask to write the back end. Since this was the first time I had looked at Python, I originally found it challenging because my app required three join tables with many to many relationships in categories, designers and comments. However the more I worked away at it, learning these languages; the more familiar I became.
Increase in the vehicle use has also increased the traffic in the parking During rush hours the user can easily access parking spots which are near to them. This parking app will enable users to find a parking spot according to GPS which is not taken by any other driver. Users are able to comment, review and rate the best parking spots. The map will show the location of the parking spots available in central London including electronic charging points. Spaces is my second project from General Assembly's Web Development Immersive. It was a group project built in one week, and was my first multi-page, web app that didn't only involve working with the front-end.
The reactathon dad jokes, was my first project using a Javascript libary and hardly any HTML. We were put into pairs where we brain stormed the best ideas, before the wireframming and planning stage. We came to the conclusion that the more external api's we pulled in, the more accessible our app would be. As this was going to be a fun, interactive app, we acknowledged that the styling would have to be second to none. We used animate css to ensure there would be animation to make the application more compelling to use.
